Testing 1, 2, 3...
Hi,
Here goes nothing. As part of the Campus Hobo Project I will be living, eating, and sleeping on campus all week. I will be on campus for work (in the Photography Dept.) at 8:30am tomorrow (Monday) morning and I won't be leaving campus until 3:30pm on Friday. Admittedly, I spend the greater part of my time on campus, but I've never spent this much time there. I've actually only ever spent two full nights on campus in the three years that I've been here. Both on separate occasions, but both for the Tent City tuition protest that the UPEISU stages every fall.
I'm not entirely sure what to expect from this stunt. I kinda foresee a sore back and dent in my wallet, since I'm fairly tall and poorly equipped for sleeping on couches, and having to survive mainly on campus food would force anyone to have to dip into the retirement fund. That being said, it won't be all bad. It will at least provide me with plenty of time to study, and a decent excuse to snoop around the different buildings on campus. I'm excited to see what interesting things I can find. Ghost hunting in Dalton? Eff ya.
Tomorrow, besides going to work, I plan on taking advantage of the Laptop borrowing service at the library, participating in the UPEISU Society Fair, and maybe even going for a swim at the Cari pool!
That's all for now. I'll keep updating as the week progresses.
Cheers,
Patrick C
