What The Hell Happened To Greco? Part 2
6 am rolls around pretty early when you are hungover and homeless. Thursday was miserable it was rainy and cold and I was all out of clean clothes, so the best place for me to be was the super quiet area in the library on the giant leather chairs, I don't know who decided to put leather chairs in a super quiet area but that was the place for this hungover hobo. I napped there most of the morning and eventually found enough strength to get up and go to class. With the finish line in sight there was only one more obstacle to overcome, open mic. That is right folks I am a sucker for cheap drinks, wings and drunk emo-kids singing and playing the old geeetar. So with the conditions just right I proceeded to do what I had done every night prior, I drank my face off and ate chicken wings. The night went well and there was no shortage of people willing to buy me drinks on the last night of my plight. The night went great, I always think the wave is great when it is toned down and you can actually talk to the people you are with at a reasonable decibel level. At the end of the night everybody went home and I decided to go back to my favorite place to crash, back in Big Papa Younis' office, I strongly recommend that before everybody finishes there time here at UPEI to sleep in Shawn Younis' office. So with that I went 4 for 4 at the wave. I came, I conquered, I got drunk and ate chicken wings at the wave.

What The Hell Happened To Greco?
What the hell happened to Greco, the short answer to the question is I got drunk. The long answer takes us all the way back to Wednesday after spending the night in Big Papa Younis' office I spent all of wednesday just kind of hanging around campus. I helped VP, DJ-J Rod getting people to sign the tuition protest postcards to be given to Premier Ghiz. Later on that evening I headed to Trivia where my buddy Baron was getting ready to fill in for trivia for the first time. Baron was more than happy to share his copious amounts of alcohol, countless amounts of free alcohol later and one piss-poor rendition of "Bohemian Rhapsody" I was shit faced. Ladies and gentlemen there is no worse time to try and find a place to spend the night than after you have been politely asked by the wave bouncers to: "please go home for the night you have had way to much to drink" easier said then done buddy! So at this point I am at the dark side of shit faced thinking of a place to spend the night in the pouring rain. Having lived in residence for the last year it is what I have called home for a good chunk of my life so I decided why not return for an encore, so I did. I was able to slip in one of the doors and crash in a comfy new lounge couch for the remainder of the evening. That was my trivia night at the wave and it didn't get much better on thursday.

Showering is Serious Business
Welcome to Thursday! Last night was probably the roughest night yet for us. Pat Callbeck and I didn't get to sleep until around 3 in the morning, due to lots of studying, cookies, and playing Miniputt on Addictinggames.com. Our bed of choice, as mentioned below, was the stage in the Student Centre. After a bit of sneaking around security, we managed to set up shop behind the big curtain at the back of the stage, ready for a good night's sleep. Unfortunately, Patrick didn't make it through the night. The dust and hard floor, combined with a bit of snoring on my behalf, drove him running like a baby back up to the cadre office. I'm not sure on the details, but I believe that our good friend Greco also had an interesting night. Something to do with drinking, too much drinking, and a lounge in residence could probably sum up his night, but that's a tale for him to tell, not for me.
I, on the other hand, had a great night's sleep, and was ready to go for my Psych re-test at 7:40. I finished classes late this morning, at which point I felt it was necessary to have another shower. This time, rather than heading over to CARI, I took advantage of the shower upstairs in the Business building (I believe that it's beside a vending machine or two, and the bathrooms). I still have clean clothes left, so if you didn't know any better you might have trouble spotting me out as somebody who hasn't slept in a bed for the last few nights.
Who knows what the rest of the day will hold. Tonight is our last night, and so far none of us have successfully been picked up by any babes in res. I'll keep you posted on where we're staying tonight.
So long for now,
Josh
Hobo Nightmare.
I was not meant for the stage. I couldn't handle all of the dust, hardwood floor, and snoring. THAT and my stomach was stabbing me from the inside all night. This was definitely my fault though, I really over did it at the deans honours awards thing. Way too many cookies. There was no way I was getting back to sleep after I woke up, so I spent the rest of the night napping in the cadre office.
I'm feeling better now though, and I'm ready to spend my last full day on campus. Hopefully the rain stays away and we are able to go ahead with the Shinerama Car Smash, its going to be funnnn. At 1:00pm you should bring $5 with you to the paved area between Cass and Duffy, this will get you 30 seconds with a Dodge Caravan and a sledgehammer. Boo ya.

The Stage is Set
As day #3 winds down, I can't help but be wound up for the sleep that i'm about to get. After a long decision making process (it is now ~2:00 AM, we just decided where we will sleep), we have decided to sleep on the stage in MacMillan Hall. The idea of another night in a Student Union office, as easy as it would be to do, just doesn't feel like the true hobo way of doing things. Unfortunately, our original plans of sleeping in tent city were ruined when rainfall struck the campus some time this afternoon. A strong security presence in Main building along with locked doors and surveillance cameras everywhere else have left us with one option, another night in the Student Centre.
I didn't really do that much today, as I had classes through the whole morning, but I did manage to sneak about 45 minutes worth of napping in this afternoon at the library. Other highlights included a free slice of pizza in the Cadre office, more shitty weather, the making of a bindle, and even more free food leftover from the Dean's honours thing, whatever it is called.
Tomorrow, after my two morning classes, I plan on taking a nice hot shower in the Business building. I am down to my last 2 pizza pops, but I still have a whole container of hummus left over from the start of the week. These things should keep me clean and nourished, two things which are necessary considering that I still have almost two days left on campus.
A review on sleeping on the stage will come at some point tomorrow morning, assuming that I live through my 7:40 Psychology re-quiz. It's too late for this.
Stay alert,
Stay Safe,
Josh

With A Little Help From My Friends
Yesterday was a pretty good day and it is all thanks to great support I am getting from people supporting my cause (whatever that is?). Luke Poirier and all the other RLA's in residence treated me to a nice meal in the Wanda Wyatt. Then it was off to the wave for the rest of the evening where I watched The Twins edge out the Tigers. I got to spend time with my girlfriend stef, who has been great throughout all of this. Chris and Baron helped get me drunk, thanks guys now I truly feel like a Hobo. Finally Big Papa Younis let me crash in the couch in his office which was far superior to the Poli Sci lounge. Today free hot dogs and tent city and the premier is coming to campus, maybe he will give me a good return on my collection of cans!

Bed time.
Tonight ruled. Josh and I went swimming in the Cari pool, which is one of the many untapped resources offered to students. We went there and acted like goofs for half an hour, it was a lot of fun. We also printed off a bunch of posters for our respective student council election campaigns. They'll be going up tomorrow, so be sure to keep your eyes peeled.
Pat, Josh, and I are calling it a night, I think. We've decided to stay in the student union offices which have been graciously donated to us by Shawn Younis and Jillian Stewart.
Tomorrow is going to involve a whole lot of studying for me. I have two tests on Thursday, and I need to do a lot of reading for both. Hopefully I'll be able too get the studying out of the way so I can join everyone for the Tent City demonstration tomorrow night. We'll see about that I guess.
